Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets has called on the global community to react to another shelling by Russian troops of the Zaporizhzhia NPP web site.
In a publish on Telegram, he wrote: “Today, more than 10 attacks on the ZNPP web page were recorded. Russia carries on to demonstrate its ‘status’ as a terrorist nation. The shelling resulted in problems to the station’s infrastructure.”
According to Lubinets, that refers to the infrastructure that would allow the fifth and sixth electricity models to be released to restore electricity output at the Zaporizhzhia NPP for Ukraine’s demands.
The ombudsman also mentioned that Russia is neglecting the stay of Intercontinental Atomic Power Agency gurus at the ZNPP, as nicely as “the popular perception and basic safety of not only those who are at the station, but also those individuals who may well turn into victims of an irreparable tragedy.”
As Ukrinform reported, impressive explosions rocked the space of ZNPP on Saturday night and once more on Sunday morning.
According to the IAEA, there experienced been problems to some structures, techniques and tools at the ZNPP web page, but “none of them so significantly important for nuclear basic safety and protection.”
